Well, I've been fretting about my son possibly losing his high-tech job due to these recent sweeping layoffs.

Humor aside, I can't help but wish that these companies had taken advantage of my RAMMPP Matrix before resorting to drastic layoffs.
I first learned RAMMPP at GE in their Change Acceleration Program to help leaders enhance performance and strip away red tape.
Here's a simple breakdown of how RAMMPP works:
First, delve into:
Reports
Approvals
Meetings
Measures
Policies
Practices

Then, for each of the above, ask, Could this be:
Completely cut out?
Partially reduced?
Delegated to a lower level?
Done less frequently?
Executed in a simpler or less time-consuming way?
Handled with fewer people?
Implemented using more efficient tech?
Or is there another solution?
